BLUES EXILE is a Sydney based 4-piece blues rock band formed in 2015 who announced their arrival on the festival scene at the Sydney Blues and Roots festival in Windsor October 2015, again in 2016 performing with legendary American blues guitarist Chris Cain. Since then the band continues to grow in popularity playing in venues in Sydney’s East and West and on the coast also playing at the Newcastle Blues Festival in 2018. Supporting the likes of Phil Emmanuel, Mitch Anderson, Blues Arcadia and the Bondi Cigars, Blues Exile has been described as a band that plays with passion and clearly enjoy what they do. Playing a mix of traditional blues fused with original melodic blues rock we produce an original blues sound without losing the sincerity and the original feel the Blues deserves
The band is fronted by the very humble singer song writer Guitarist Emmanuel Gial whose smooth vocals and gritty guitar work captivate all who have caught one of the band’s performances and is enhanced by a combination of rhythmic drum and bass and some searing Hammond organ. The band  recorded their debut EP "FIRST MET THE BLUES" in 2018 reaching No 9 on the Australian Blues and Roots airwave charts. It is available for physical and digital release on APPLE MUSIC and SPOTIFY and CD BABY.

"The title track got my attention from the very first note then the vocals came in wow what a great sound. I would love to add to my playlist. This EP could end up as one of my featured weekly disc".
